Kitezh

What do we do?

Kitezh works to rehabilitate damaged young people through:

• Love and security in families and in the community
• Psychological management and intervention
• Individualised Education
• Play therapy

 It also runs

• Summer camps for orphans from regional orphanages.
  The camps include role play games, designed by psychologists,
  in which children learn to realize their own self
  worth, cope with their fears and analyse their vision
  of the world.  
• A therapeutic programme for emotionally troubled
  children from middle class families who live in
  Kitezh for a period, benefiting from the healing
  environment. Their progress is carefully monitored,
  and the programme has shown very positive results.
• A foreign volunteer programme allowing
  people to live and work at Kitezh for a period of
