Kitezh and Hash House Harriers warmly invite you to the MIDSUMMER FUN RUN 2009

We are pleased to welcome the international running group Hash House Harriers and all our friends and supporters to our therapeutic community Orion on 20th June 2009. Join us for a fun and inspirational day in the Russian countryside 75km south west of Moscow! Families are very welcome.

On 20th June a group of Hash House Harriers from all over the world will come by bus to Orion and organize a children’s run, providing entertainment for approximately 30 children from Kitezh and Orion. The event will start at 1300hrs, and go on until early evening, when the runners will leave us to stay in a nearby guesthouse.

During the day children and adults will put on a play, take our visitors on an excursion and show a film of how our unique children’s villages were built. After the run, there will be songs, BBQ and a raffle. The day promises to be great fun and through it we aim both to raise awareness of therapeutic family-based orphan care in Russia, and funds to support both villages.
